Amphibian Conservation
Breeding Project
Fragile Planet is home to over 50 species of rare and endangered frogs, salamanders, toads, snakes tortoises, and lizards. Through the captive breeding projects of conservationist Nicholas Stacey, FPWP successfully exhibits and propagates numerous endangered amphibians including green salamanders, the purple harlequin toad, and the Rio Pescado stub-foot toad.
Learn about our amazing projects during a tour of our "amphibian lab." Guests participating in level 1 and level 2 tours will learn about reptiles and amphibians from around the planet and how Fragile Planet is making a difference to ensure certain species long-term survival.
